About Spoonfed

’Spoonfed’ because we focus on imparting mostly high-scoring knowledge to driven exam candidates.

At Spoonfed, we are aware that students’ workloads across all topics are heavy. We know how to streamline the curriculum to equip students with the necessary skills and winning techniques.

We love lean and mean grammar and trendy essential vocab (with a touch of sparkle because speaking French or any foreign language is fun and empowering!)

Spoonfed was set up by Pascale, whose international upbringing -10 schools across 3 continents- shaped her global perspective before completing her MA at Université Côte d’Azur.

Trained as a literary translator, she translated several British and American novels into French for Parisian publishers.

She transitioned to marketing roles with French multinationals in Singapore for 18 years, then taught IB French on campus prior to joining the e.working revolution, coaching driven Asia-based students to ace their French exams.

Not at all. Spoonfed means clear explanations, smart shortcuts, zero confusion. You still do the work—but you don’t waste time on data with low exam value.

Driven Asia-based international IB and IGCSE students who want A*s, 7s, and real confidence—not just “getting by.”

I teach motivated students. Whether you’re aiming for your first solid 6 or pushing for a 7, effort beats level every time.

Native French, translator brain, Latinist logic, IB & IGCSE classroom experience, same expat upbringing as my students, 20 years in multinational marketing working with multicultural teams, and a soft spot for students with inquisitive minds.

Actually, French grammar is simple. Beautifully clear logical rules organise the structure of the language, and when you apply them, it works!  I love the rationality of French grammar, and we will demystify it!

Slang is real French. Language is organic; it evolves constantly. IB and IGCSE love idioms, but we stick to the more effective ones. And polite slang, because you are required to speak like a GEN Z, not like a French grandmother!

Of course, I provide tracking of what we cover so that everyone can follow the progression.

I do not believe in getting to the top in French without learning your irregular verbs. So just do it! It is going to be slightly painful, but so rewarding!

Yes. Like surfing. Once you know how to stand on the board, you start having fun. In French, once you can move from one tense to another without stumbling and once you automatically think about your agreements, you will start to fly.
